Privacy policy.
What I collect, why, and what you can do about it. The short, readable version of what the law requires.
1. Who am I?
This policy applies to the website hamza.be and to all services provided by Hamza Ouamari ("I" or "we"). For any question about your data, you can contact me directly.

2. What data do I collect?
I only collect what I need to help or contact you. Specifically:
- Contact details you fill in yourself: name, email, organisation, optional message — through a form on this site or by email.
- Newsletter data: email address and (optional) first name when you subscribe to the newsletter.
- Technical data your browser sends by default: IP address, browser type, language, pages visited. Processed in anonymous or aggregated form.
- Cookies: see the cookie policy for the full list.
3. Why do I process this data?
Data is only used for:
- Answering your question or quote request (performance of a contract).
- Sending the newsletter and related communication (your consent).
- Improving the site and analysing usage in aggregated form (legitimate interest).
- Meeting legal obligations, e.g. accounting retention requirements.
The legal basis depends on the processing: your consent, performance of a contract, a legal obligation, or a legitimate interest.
4. How long do I keep data?
- Contact requests: kept up to one year after the last contact moment.
- Client data: kept as long as legal obligations require (accounting: 7 years).
- Newsletter subscriptions: kept until you unsubscribe.
- Technical log files: maximum 12 months.
5. With whom do I share data?
Your data stays with me. For the operation of the site I use a few processors, who only see what's strictly necessary for their service:
- Hosting party (server and domain hosting).
- Mailchimp (Intuit Inc., USA) — for sending the newsletter. Mailchimp operates under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
- Email provider for handling personal correspondence.
I never sell data and don't share it for commercial purposes.
6. What rights do you have?
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the data I hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Have your data erased ("right to be forgotten").
- Restrict or object to the processing.
- Receive your data in a readable format or have it transferred.
- Withdraw your consent at any time (e.g. unsubscribe from the newsletter).
A question or complaint? Email me at hello@hamza.be. Unhappy with how I handled your request? You can always reach out to the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
7. Security
The site runs over a secure HTTPS connection. Passwords are stored hashed. External processors are selected on their security practices and sign a data processing agreement.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may change if the law or the workings of the site change. The date at the top reflects the latest version. For substantial changes I notify newsletter subscribers.
